This is the website of Martin Bekkelund, an individual from Norway, a country far up north, with the lovely fjords and the midnight sun.
Martin holds a higher degree in IT an has many years of experience in the IT business, both in Norway and internationally, where he has been working on strategic, mission-critical IT solutions.
For the moment, Martin works as the CIO of the Norwegian Open Source Knowledge Center. He is also a board member of several boards, being a strategic advisor.
Martin is an experienced speaker and course holder, and has held about 150 keynotes and courses, both in Norway and internationally. Topics range from open source software and open standards, presentation techniques, bloging, digital content and rights, social media, web 2.0 and sharing culture, to strategic use of IT to reach business goals.
